Blossom Tande, Ed.D., is an experienced executive, educator, and Certified Six Sigma Master Blackbelt.  She is the Co-Founder and Board Chair of EDUCATION CONNECTION SOLUTIONS, LLC, a business consulting firm specializing in training, advisory, lean six sigma deployment, strategy development, change management, and turnaround management.  Blossom’s varied personal clients have included public, private, and volunteer organizations within Local, State, and the Federal Government, including the National Guard, Navy, State Agencies, and the Small Business Administration, as well as Healthcare/Lab Facilities, Utilities, Aerospace, Telecommunications, Construction, Printing, Information Technology (Hardware and Software), Packaged Foods, Restaurant and Hospitality, along with Education organizations.  Her clients include well known nationwide and international organizations.

In addition to currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Ottawa University in Surprise, Arizona, and previously serving as an Adjunct Professer at the Indiana University Kelley School of Business, Dr. Blossom Tande also has over 20 years of experience serving in multiple leadership roles for Rockwell International, Raytheon, and Hughes Aircraft, commercial aerospace and military engineering companies, where she was responsible for managing and performing business and financial services.  She also has served as a Master Black Belt and Director of Performance Excellence in the Quality organization on a range of local projects to leading major corporate wide six sigma teams. Her leadership and accomplishments include training and mentoring staff towards successfully driving change management, analyzing business processes, implementing process improvements and achieving operational efficiencies and significant cost savings.  As a successful implementation integrator for various company-wide systems, such as ERP (SAP), Financial, timekeeping, and payroll, Blossom’s expertise maximized user satisfaction before and through actual go-live dates.

Blossom is also a recipient of the Hughes Aircraft CEO's Summit Award in Performance Excellence. The highest achievement awarded to an individual for significant contribution to the financial and strategic achievement of Hughes Aircraft Values, Goals, and Initiatives.  Blossom was a key capture team member in the successful Indianapolis Naval Avionics Warfare Center privatization effort and served as the site Manager of Program Business Management.

Blossom’s experience consulting with the Executive Teams for some of the State of Indiana’s largest Agencies led to achieving significant operational and process improvement results.  While serving as a Director at AFNI, a fast growing outsourcing customer interactions company, Blossom facilitated and directed the implementation of the strategic planning process for Call Center Services, including overseeing project management of new sites, identifying market potential and analyzing recruitment and retention initiatives resulting in a significant revenue increase and a reversal from a negative to positive earnings position.

Dr. Blossom Tande received her Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University in Arizona.  Blossom has also received a Master of Science Degree in Business with a specialization in Global Supply Chain Management from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and her Bachelor of Science Degree in Management from California State Polytechnic University at Pomona, California. Blossom has also completed UCLA’s Management program, Leadership Education for Asian Pacific’s, as well as Raytheon’s Executive Leadership Program and Hughes Aircraft’s Business Executive Development program.

As an industry educator, Blossom is highly rated and experienced conference speaker on the effective application of Business Process Management & Process Excellence tools.  Her areas of expertise include Finance, Supply Chain Management, Supplier Collaboration, Telecommunications and Government performance initiatives.  Her global involvement has afforded a diverse group of CEO’s and VP’s the opportunity to learn how to succeed at implementing strategic business plans, supply chain management techniques and partnering approaches using Project Management and Lean Six Sigma tools.  In addition, she teaches in university settings on successful leadership skills including mentoring, networking, negotiation, and succession planning.

Blossom was appointed by the Maricopa County Superintendent of Education and served on the Governing Board for the award winning "A" Rated Dysart Unified School District with over 26,000 students.  Volunteering is a passion Blossom has performed since her early teens. As an advocate for abused children to coaching at risk youth, Blossom has devoted her time and talents to improving the quality of life for other individuals in various capacities such as Board Chair, Fund Raiser, and Pro Bono Business Consultant. Blossom also travels internationally on an annual mission service trip.
